The firm represents individuals, businesses, associations and local government agencies on matters related to its principal areas of practice which include real estate development; affordable housing; community development; business organization; government relations; administrative law; litigation; health care law; nursing home regulation; professional licensing; transportation; elections; eminent domain; and alternative dispute resolution. We are also experienced in a number of specialty areas that are incorporated into these core practice groups.

Mary P. Levine (mplevine@levinelgroup.com)draws on her extensive experience as an attorney and executive with the State of Michigan in several departments and agencies. Most recently, Ms. Levine held the positions of Acting General Counsel and Acting Director of Administration for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority. Ms. Levine is also a licensed real estate broker and state certified general appraiser. Ms. Levine is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the Ingham County Bar Association. Ms. Levine is the President of the Greater Lansing Housing Coalition, a non-profit corporation dedicated to the development of affordable housing and community development endeavors. |

Michael C. Levine (mclevine@levinelgroup.com) focuses his practice in administrative and government law and litigation related to the firm’s areas of practice in state and federal court. Mr. Levine is a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan. Mr. Levine is counsel to several statewide organizations. Mr. Levine is also a state certified facilitative mediator and a licensed real estate broker. Mr. Levine is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Ingham County Bar Association. Mr. Levine is a member of the WKAR Advisory Board. |
